Description
As an Environmental Engineering Specialist at 3M, you will evaluate the effectiveness of programs, processes, and technology related to water discharges at 3M manufacturing facilities globally.
You will foster a culture of full entitlement mindset toward compliance and risk reduction, engage with water regulatory agencies, and provide leadership and strategic direction on water stewardship and compliance subject matter expertise globally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing standard work for water programs and tools, including validation with area EHS teams to ensure improvements are efficient and effective
- Collaborating across corporate EHS, area/site EHS teams, engineering, R&D, legal affairs, and external stakeholders to drive performance excellence, recognize and develop best practices, and implement novel environmental technologies
- Engaging with water regulatory agencies to assist area and site EHS colleagues and support 3M manufacturing facility operations
The expected compensation range for this position is $145,676 - $178,049, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
