Description
As a Customer Delivery Driver for Waitrose, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality produce and providing excellent customer service to customers in Weston-super-Mare.
You will be driving a well-equipped, modern vehicle, and your main goal will be to provide a friendly and professional service to customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with customers
- Handling products and deliveries with care
- Making sure customers understand that they won't be charged extra for substituted items
- Helping customers with their groceries
- Familiarising yourself with your delivery route for the day
- Conducting safety checks on your vehicle
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks when you're not on the road
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be 18 or older
- A full, valid UK manual car driving license (B-Category) with no more than 6 penalty points
- Excellent people skills and a friendly approach to customer service
- The ability to lift crates, walk up stairs, and move large cages (approximately no heavier than 18kg)
In addition to your contractual pay, you will receive Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour for any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00.
The hourly pay rate for this role is £14.31.
