Description
We are seeking a Senior BIM Engineer specialising in Geo-Environmental, Civil infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on digital delivery and Civil 3D modelling.
The Senior BIM Engineer will take ownership of 3D modelling, drafting, and preparation of design documentation for Geo-Environmental, civil infrastructure, including water supply, wastewater, stormwater systems, and utility networks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining Civil 3D models, integrating GIS and survey data, ensuring QA/QC compliance, and delivering accurate digital deliverables.
- Producing detailed 3D civil models, preparing engineering drawings, and managing spatial/geospatial data.
- Coordinating with engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design intent and project requirements are met.
- Leading the coordination and integration of digital design models across disciplines.
- Maintaining and enforcing CAD/BIM standards, performing QA/QC checks, and supporting data exchange workflows.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and BIM coordination.
- Experience in GIS and spatial data integration, survey data processing, and point cloud processing.
- Familiarity with digital engineering, BIM, and information management principles.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
