Description
We are seeking an Endoscopy Practitioner to join our team at Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow. This is a part-time role working 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible shift pattern.
As an Endoscopy Practitioner, you will support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of individuals and the wider community. You will be required to:
- Develop your competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving your clinical and technical knowledge and skills
- Communicate effectively with others involved in patient care
- Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients and demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care
- Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Registration with the NMC or HCPC
- Basic and advanced competence or qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination
- Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination
- Teaching, assessing, or mentorship qualifications
- Knowledge of relevant standards and external bodies
- ILS certification
