Principal Applications Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Applications Engineer to join our team. As a trusted advisor for our Interface IP customers, you will provide technical guidance through IP usage, configuration, and addressing integration challenges.

You will support customers in feature-specific requirement assessment and integration into the complex ecosystem, assist with silicon/system bring-up and debugging of critical issues, and collaborate with internal teams to enable and deliver tailored solutions to customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a trusted advisor for Interface IP customers
• Supporting customers in feature-specific requirement assessment and integration
• Assisting with silicon/system bring-up and debugging of critical issues
• Collaborating with internal teams to enable and deliver tailored solutions
• Staying updated with the latest industry specifications and applications
• Participating in occasional travel to support customer engagements and silicon bring-up activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar with a focus on VLSI design
• At least 10 years of design, verification, or application engineering experience
• Proficiency in RTL coding using Verilog/VHDL
• Experience with high-speed protocols such as Ethernet or PCIe
• Hands-on experience with simulation, synthesis, and static timing analysis (STA)
• Familiarity with UNIX environments and ASIC/SoC tape-out processes
• Knowledge of CDC, RDC, Lint, DFT, STA, and LEC is a plus
