Description
As a Value Engineering Intern at Logitech, you'll help develop better should-cost models to make smarter sourcing and design decisions.
The VAVE (Value Analysis and Value Engineering) team builds component should-cost models to validate supplier quotations across different areas. You'll collaborate with various experts to capture manufacturing know-how, standardizing labor and overhead cost structures to build a should-cost framework.
In this role, you'll:
- Framework Design: Map domain expertise and manufacturing parameters into a structured cost-modeling framework.
- Model Building: Construct and validate a new component costing model incorporating key cost drivers.
- AI & Process Optimization: Leverage AI and modern digital tools to automate data workflows and enhance modeling efficiency.
To qualify, you should be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related fields, with a tech-savvy mindset and ability to leverage AI and advanced analytical tools.
