Description
WSP is seeking an Associate Project Manager to work with the Federal Environmental Team. The successful candidate will provide local project management for environmental programs in the public and private sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal and external team members
- Support project teams and ensure timely delivery
- Track project progress, identify risks, and assist with corrective actions
- Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams
- Assist with client management and communication
- Manage environmental data collection and analysis
- Perform civil and environmental engineering work
- Generate accurate and concise documentation
- Verify site characteristics and provide technical assistance
- Write technical reports
- Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant post-education experience
- Excellent research and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with technical writing and software
- Experience with environmental sampling and analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced degree
- Professional certifications (P.E., PMP)
- Proficiency with technical software programs
- Knowledge of construction cost estimating and processes

Compensation:
- Expected salary: $85,200 - $129,800
