Description
At Wolt, a global tech company, you're tasked with designing and managing finance processes as a Senior Finance Specialist - GL Accounting. This hybrid role, based in Tbilisi, Georgia, involves GL accounting for defined entities, processing primary accounting documents, and ensuring accuracy and completeness. You'll implement group accounting policies, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- GL Accounting for defined entities
- Process primary accounting documents and input data into the ERP system
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of primary accounting documents
- Implement and follow group accounting policies and principles
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Conduct month-end closing activities for defined entities
- Prepare financial statements
- Assist stakeholders with accounting-related queries
- Assist with audit requests
- Prepare regulatory reports
Requirements:
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounting and IFRS
- Understanding of accounting processes
- Analytical skills
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Fluent in English; other languages an advantage
- Experience with NetSuite a plus
- Must be based in Tbilisi
