Main duties of the job
- Assisting service users with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Supporting mobility and using assistive equipment
- Meal and drink preparation, and monitoring dietary intake
- Assisting with toileting, incontinence care, and changing of clothes or bedding
- Supporting daily living tasks and offering emotional care
- Assisting with medication management (if required)
- Maintaining clear and professional communication with clients and team members
- Adhering to company policies and professional standards
- Accurate record-keeping and reporting to relevant healthcare professionals
