Description
Working as an Inbound Expert at Target means being part of a team that enables a consistent experience for guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
The role involves executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals. As an Inbound Expert, you will create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues.
Responsibilities:
- Execute a detailed, accurate, and efficient sorting operation
- Stock, organize, and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor
- Maintain product availability on the sales floor for General Merchandise categories
- Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise
- Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work in a safe manner at all times and comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
- Work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
