We have a great opportunity for a Bank Porter to join our team at Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital.
You will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise.
With a strong focus on customer service, our team of Bank Porters provide a vital service in our hospital. Although escorting patients in a safe and friendly manner is a key function of the role, you will also be required to provide general porter services to all hospital departments. Duties will include management of waste, transit of blood and specimens, changing and handling of gas cylinders, and manual handling of equipment.
What you'll bring with you:
- Professional and confident IT skills
- A valid driver's licence is essential for this role
- Strong English and Mathematics skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Initiative with a flexible and proactive approach to work
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent customer service experience
- Experience in working within a challenging environment
- Previous Healthcare experience (desirable but not required)
