We're looking for an experienced Trial Attorney to join our growing practice of plaintiff's lawyers and supporting case staff in our offices in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Trial Attorney will handle litigation cases, including trial prep and trial, focusing on motor vehicle liability and automobile accident cases in Florida. You'll guide plaintiff clients through the case process, interact with expert witnesses, and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
Our law firm's generous and competitive compensation includes a base salary, non-recoverable draw, and standard commission fees/bonuses, as well as a full benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Handle litigation cases day-to-day
- Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
- Guide plaintiff clients through the case process
- Interact with expert witnesses and prepare reports and affidavits
- Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
Qualifications:
- Law degree (J.D./JD/Juris Doctor) from a fully accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association in Florida
- Ideally 3+ years of Personal Injury/auto liability/MVA experience
- Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
