Description
We are seeking a tax lawyer to join our team in Germany. As a tax lawyer at Hogan Lovells, you will work closely with our clients and colleagues from various legal areas and international offices to provide pragmatic and economically convincing solutions to complex tax issues.
Our tax team advises national and international companies, investors, and family businesses on transactions, restructurings, and tax disputes. We pride ourselves on our ability to connect global perspectives with local expertise.
As a tax lawyer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing tax advice to clients on a wide range of matters, including transactions, restructurings, and tax disputes
- Working closely with colleagues from various legal areas and international offices
- Developing pragmatic and economically convincing solutions to complex tax issues

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least two satisfactory state exams with a focus on tax law or a demonstrable interest in tax law
- Enthusiasm for tax law issues at the interface of law, business, and politics
- Entrepreneurial thinking and interest in national and international transactions
- Excellent English language skills and enjoyment of working in an international environment
- Strong analytical skills and high quality standards
- Team spirit, communication skills, and enjoyment of client contact
- A PhD or LLM degree acquired abroad is not a requirement but is welcome as an additional qualification
