Description
We are seeking a Principal Psychologist to join our team at Priory Hospital Nelson House in Gosport, Hampshire, working 22.5 hours per week. The role involves providing senior clinical leadership, leading patient assessments and treatment planning, and driving evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior clinical leadership within the psychology service
- Lead patient assessments, formulations, and treatment planning
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to risk management and care planning
- Offer clinical supervision and guidance to the psychology and wider clinical teams
- Drive the development and continuous improvement of psychological services
Requirements:
- Recognised postgraduate qualification in Psychology meeting HCPC registration requirements
- Current HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Formal training in at least two therapeutic modalities
- Relevant post-qualification experience and clinical competencies for a Principal Psychologist role
