Description
We are seeking a Barron's Reporter Intern to join our team in New York City for a 10-week summer experience. As a Barron's Reporter Intern, you will work with various editors on a variety of stories,reporting and writing breaking news,on business and economic topics.
Responsibilities:
- Report and write breaking news stories about business, finance, and the economy
- Help make Barron’s a go-to for readers looking for sharp analysis on daily news stories
- Work with seasoned reporters with research and reporting on feature stories
Requirements:
- Completed at least two years towards your Bachelor’s degree
- Journalism or writing experience, with stories that were published either in a university publication or during a previous internship
- The ability to report and write clearly, concisely, and factually in a timely manner
- An interest in business journalism
- The ability to communicate with editors about the progress of your stories, and to participate in the editing process
Program Eligibility:
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program
- Graduating in Dec 2027 – July 2029 (U.S.)
- Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.
