We are seeking a Product Owner to deliver enterprise AI initiatives with strategic business impact. You will collaborate with world-class engineers to develop cutting-edge technology while ensuring meaningful value is delivered safely and responsibly. You will own the full product lifecycle from discovery through deployment, balancing innovation with governance in a complex, regulated environment.
Purpose of the role To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organisation’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Requirements
- Proven experience delivering products in enterprise agile environments using Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
- Strong understanding of AI capabilities, use cases, and business applications.
- Track record of translating business requirements into technical roadmaps for engineering and data science teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate product vision clearly.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their AI/ML service offerings.
- Background in product management, business analysis, or technical domain expertise.
- Track record of leading agile transformation initiatives and coaching teams through organisational change.
- Proven experience navigating regulated environments and managing heightened governance requirements for tech change.
