Description
We are seeking a Civil Technician to join our Roads, Aviation and Civil Team to provide CAD support to engineering projects.
The successful candidate will assist in setting up projects, developing general arrangement drawings, and ensuring the clarity, completeness, and accuracy of drawings and presentation materials.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in project setup and drawing production planning
- Developing general arrangement drawings from engineer's sketches and other design team member drawings
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of drawings and presentation materials
- Following prescribed drafting standards and procedures
- Collaborating with project team members
The ideal candidate will have:
- A technical degree or 3+ years of experience in BS Engineering or BS Architecture
- 3-7 years of relevant civil drafting experience
- Experience working on various sized projects as CAD support and as part of a wider CAD team
- Knowledge of drafting software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise
- Proficiency in Civil 3D an advantage
- Experience working on Australian projects preferred
