Description
We are seeking a Department Head to oversee four audit areas: Medical Billing Review, Midwives, Rehab & Miscellaneous, and Travel Costs. As Department Head, you will have overall responsibility for these areas and actively shape the further development of our audit department.
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for four audit areas with a focus on quality, efficiency, and target achievement
- Leadership and development of four areas with a total of around 65 employees, including team leads, specialists, and productive employees
- Control and optimization of operational processes in close coordination with the Associate Director
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and qualitative and quantitative customer requirements
- Contact person for our customers (statutory health insurance companies) and escalation instance
- Responsibility for customer communication, control, and strategic coordination
- Building and accompanying new customers in onboarding and operational ramp-up
- Development and implementation of measures for process optimization and quality improvement
- Involvement in the further development of software solutions in the audit environment
- Ensuring compliance with company guidelines, data protection regulations, and occupational and health protection
- Regular reporting to the Associate Director
Requirements:
- Several years of leadership experience, ideally in an auditing, healthcare, or insurance environment
- Strong communication skills and pronounced customer orientation
- Experience in managing complex organizational units and processes
- Strategic thinking combined with operational implementation competence
- High affinity for quality assurance, process optimization, and innovation
- Secure handling of relevant regulatory and data protection requirements
