Description
We are seeking a Regional Occupational Therapist to join our established Regional Occupational Therapy team, supporting up to four specialist services within our Learning Disability and Autism division.
As a Regional Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.
- Provide specialist OT advice, recommendations, and clinical guidance.
- Produce professional reports, assessments, and documentation.
- Complete risk assessments and develop protocols relating to equipment and therapeutic activities.
- Support service managers, multidisciplinary teams, and support staff with specialist occupational therapy input.
- Deliver training and education to staff teams to promote best practice.
- Recommend and advise on appropriate aids, adaptations, and physical healthcare interventions where required.
- Contribute to service development and the ongoing enhancement of occupational therapy provision.
- Manage your own workload and work autonomously across multiple services.
This role combines the flexibility of home working, regional travel, and clinical leadership with the support of an experienced and collaborative professional team.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Experience completing occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
