Description
Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Operations Specialist/Sr to ensure safe and effective operations of clinical research studies. The successful candidate will safeguard the wellbeing of research subjects, review study protocols, and execute procedures in alignment with protocols and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and effective operations of clinical research studies, including implementation of advanced methodologies and technologies to enhance study outcomes
- Safeguard the wellbeing of research subjects in a medical capacity, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices in patient care
- Review study protocols and execute procedures in alignment with protocols and regulatory, health, and safety standards
- Raise or escalate study issues as necessary, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for resolution
- Recruit and coordinate communication with clinical trial volunteers and patients
- Follow applicable regulations globally and by region
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop study materials
- Monitor trial progress and address any issues that arise during the study
Qualifications:
- Established and experienced support individual contributor
- Broad knowledge of operational systems and practices
- Relevant certifications in clinical operations or related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under supervision and follow established protocols
- Attention to detail and ability to handle routine tasks with some deviation from standard practice
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
