Description

We are seeking a Group Tax Manager to join our international tax function. You will play a central role in handling tax-related queries across our global business activities. You will also contribute to the development and digitalisation of our tax compliance and reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax advice to our national and international subsidiaries in Europe, Asia, and America
  • Support international project deals and advise on permanent establishments, withholding taxes, double taxation agreements, and transfer pricing issues
  • Assist in implementing tax processes and actively shape the digitalisation of the tax function
  • Ensure compliance with national and international tax requirements, including Pillar II, Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), and tax returns
  • Prepare transfer pricing documentation (CbCR, Local Files) and perform ongoing and deferred tax calculations according to IFRS for monthly and annual financial statements
  • Collaborate and coordinate with national and international tax consultants and internal interfaces, particularly with controlling

Requirements:

  • Completed degree in economics (university or college) with a focus on finance, taxation, law, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in an international tax consulting network or the tax department of a multinational corporation
  • In-depth knowledge of Austrian and European tax law, as well as current international tax frameworks and developments (e.g., OECD initiatives)
  • Good understanding of tax accounting and balance sheet preparation for income taxes under UGB and IFRS
  • Tax consultant examination advantageous
  • Strong communication and assertiveness skills combined with pronounced team and cooperation skills in an international environment
  • Analytical thinking, high sense of responsibility, and a structured, goal-oriented work style
  • Excellent German and English language skills

Annual Salary: The annual salary for this position (full-time) is €54,530.00 gross, based on the collective agreement for employees in the industry (association of the automotive industry). However, we offer a market-conform payment depending on qualification and professional experience.
