Description

Fragomen is inviting expressions of interest from experienced U.S. immigration attorneys interested in possible future Senior Associate opportunities within the Fragomen Consular Practice (FCP) in Latin America.

The role will combine regional legal and technical responsibility with operational and people management, client relationship management, business development and hands-on involvement in complex, sensitive and high-profile matters.

The successful candidate would help develop and strengthen FCP’s presence across Latin America, working closely with regional offices, global FCP leadership and U.S. domestic teams. The role would include building team capability, embedding consistent service and quality standards, supporting strategic client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth across the region.

Candidate criteria

To express interest in possible future opportunities, attorneys must:

  • Be a U.S.-licensed attorney with a minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Have substantive U.S. immigration experience; consular processing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrate an interest in future opportunities within FCP and, ideally, have a personal or professional connection to a Latin American country.
  • Be fluent in English and either Spanish or Portuguese. Fluency in both Spanish and Portuguese is highly desirable.
  • Be willing to relocate to a location in Latin America.
