Description
We are seeking a full-time onsite Staff Fulfillment Pharmacist at our Kent, WA location.
The successful candidate will interpret physicians' prescriptions, contact doctors or patients to verify prescription information, and expedite order processing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians
- Interpreting physicians' prescriptions
- Contacting doctors and patients to verify prescription information
- Verifying and confirming the validity of controlled substances
- Maintaining daily production, quality, and service levels
- Adhering to state and federal regulations surrounding pharmacy practice
- Participating in on-call responsibilities
Requirements:
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
- 1+ year of relevant experience
- Current resident pharmacist license in good standing
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret prescriptions
- Strong focus on customer service, quality, and accuracy
- Ability to manage timelines and meet tight client deadlines
- Ability to adapt in a changing environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times and PTO coverage
We offer an hourly rate of $54-$91, depending on experience and geographic location, as well as eligibility to participate in an annual bonus plan.
