The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) job is a development-focused role that prepares you for a CVS Store Manager position.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with your team, both verbally and in writing
- Provide high-quality customer care to drive sales growth
- Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales
- Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability
Expectations:
- Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion
- Support your store as a management team member, leading in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies
- Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of 'helping people on their path to better health'
- Be willing to accept promotion roles within your designated market
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor
- Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs
- Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market
- Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market
