Description
WSP in India is seeking a Consultant to Senior Consultant - Vertical Transportation (VT) to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in the Lift and Escalator Industry, specializing in Vertical Transportation Consultancy, Lift Design, and Traffic Simulation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop VT design concepts
- Calculate lift specifications
- Attend client and design team meetings
- Utilize lift traffic design software (Elevate), CAD, BIM, Revit, Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Produce efficient VT solutions for clients
- Create technical reports to illustrate designs to clients
- Coordinate with project design teams, VT suppliers, and subcontractors
- Liaise with Local Authority Departments and stakeholders to obtain approvals
- Participate in design review meetings and client presentations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in designing vertical transportation systems
- Strong understanding of VT codes, standards, and local building regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
