Description
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Energy Procurement, Risk Management, and Price Policy team. As a Data Scientist, you will develop and improve price and forecast models for energy consumption and cost prices, apply AI to increase predictive power, and translate insights into concrete improvement opportunities in pricing, sourcing, and risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve price and forecast models for energy consumption and cost prices
- Apply AI to increase predictive power and implement improvements
- Utilize machine learning and AI to accelerate improvement steps and become an expert in AI applications
- Identify trends and their impact on our portfolio
- Translate insights into concrete improvement opportunities in pricing, sourcing, and risk management
- Contribute to knowledge building and innovation implementation within the team
Requirements:
- Relevant university degree with strong mathematical, physical, and/or econometric components
- Relevant work experience
- Experience with Python, machine learning techniques, and AI
- Good communication and writing skills in Dutch and English
