Description
The Boeing Company, specifically the Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Space & Mission Systems MILSATCOM Program, is seeking a Ground MILSATCOM Systems Engineer (Level 3 or 4) to provide leadership and guidance in the development of the nation's next generation of satellite ground mission planning systems.
The successful candidate will be leading the development of cutting-edge technology in an agile environment, providing overall direction for major sections of the ground system software development staff and programs. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in systems engineering and be able to mentor and perform hands-on development, including analysis of system requirements and subsystem requirements, interface design documents, support ground systems architecture and design, system integration, system test, system verification, and demonstration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
- Evaluating customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
- Performing various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
- Developing, maintaining, and identifying improvements for the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
- Supporting government and interface working groups.
- Resolving cross-functional technical issues.

Salary Information:
- Mid-Level, Level 3: $119,850 - $162,150
- Lead, Level 4: $146,200 - $197,800
