Description
Barron's Wealth & Asset Management Group is seeking a Speaker & Programming Coordinator to support the Senior Director of Programming in developing and executing Barron's Wealth & Asset Management events.
The Speaker & Programming Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the speaker experience from confirmation through onsite execution and post-event follow-up. This includes managing speaker coordination, researching speakers or topics, drafting and editing program materials, and providing onsite program support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage speaker coordination from confirmation through post-event follow-up
- Proactively manage speaker timelines and deadlines across multiple events
- Coordinate the Senior Director's speaker and moderator calls
- Maintain accurate speaker records, program documents, databases, contracts, and planning systems
- Research speakers or topics assigned by the Senior Director
- Review speaker proposals, presentations, and program materials
- Draft and edit session descriptions, speaker briefs, moderator questions, and other program materials
- Work with internal teams to ensure speaker and program requirements are met
- Provide onsite program support
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 0–2 years of relevant professional experience
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Strong writing, editing, research, and critical-thinking skills
- Proactive working style with the ability to anticipate needs and identify problems
- Sound judgment in managing logistics independently and referring speaker and content matters to the Senior Director
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Interest in financial services, wealth management, business, markets, or technology
- Comfort working across technology and project-management platforms
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the year
