Description
The F/A-18 Mission Systems Team at The Boeing Company is seeking a Mission Systems Integration Engineer in China Lake, CA. As a Mission Systems Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for developing engineering solutions for the F/A-18 Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler.
Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering solutions for the F/A-18 Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler
- Enhance existing field units with new capabilities
- Architect and test new systems
- Develop requirements to support customer needs
- Create test plans to ensure requirements are met
- Support lab and ground tests in an integrated Boeing/US Navy development team
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent
- 5+ years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical engineering experience
- Experience in avionics, electrical, and/or mission systems
- Experience developing or integrating avionics or mission systems
- Experience in Agile Software Development and JIRA
- Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
