Description
We are seeking an Area Manager to lead our front half-day operations at our warehouse in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing shift management and their teams of 250 workers, ensuring production goals and labor targets are met. You will work closely with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Operations Manager to assist in operations and provide guidance and support to supervisors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team in a live construction environment
- Overseeing shift management and their teams

- Resolving employee relations matters and conflicts
- Developing and implementing operating methods and procedures
- Promoting a positive work environment
- Ensuring the safety of all team members
Requirements:
- 3-5 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a distribution center/warehouse environment
- 1 year of operations experience in a warehouse/distribution/logistics environment
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Software
- Effective communication skills
- Prior experience creating and executing a shift plan
- Understanding of basic math and Excel formulas
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Google Suite
Physical demands:
- Ability to walk or stand for 8-10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Pallet jack experience
- Ability to pull, push, bend, kneel, and crouch
