Description
We are seeking a Duty Engineer to join our team on Lantau Island, Hong Kong. As a Duty Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating with internal stakeholders and contractors, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain facilities, and conducting daily inspections and safety audits.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and contractors effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance works
- Conduct daily inspections and safety audits, providing advice to enhance safety performance
- Handle safety incidents and emergency downtime of facilities
- Attend daily meetings with internal stakeholders
- Assist in managing in-house frontline staff and contractors
- Assist in managing maintenance works
Qualifications:
- Higher Diploma holder or above in an Engineering-related discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Duty Engineer or in an engineering role
- Valid driving license required
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
