WSP is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for their Reno/Carson City, Nevada office.
As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will provide leadership within the structural engineering discipline, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, meeting client objectives and solving challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for structural engineering projects
- Manage transportation projects and provide technical expertise
- Apply advanced structural and civil engineering techniques to improve infrastructure projects
- Lead larger-scale structural engineering projects and teams
- Develop business opportunities and maintain client relationships
- Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- 12+ years of relevant experience in structural design with an emphasis on bridges
- Engineer's license required
- Extensive knowledge of seismic modelling, assessment, and design of bridge structures
- Highly proficient in structural engineering principles and practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a bridge-focused background
- SE Registration
