Pharmacy Intern

As a Pharmacy Intern, you have a critical role at the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients.

In this role, you will assist the Pharmacy team in providing an excellent experience for patients, participate in all aspects of the prescription filling process, provide patient counseling, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and offer health screenings and immunizations when appropriate.

Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in all aspects of the prescription filling process
• Providing patient counseling
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care
• Offering health screenings and immunizations when appropriate
• Providing customer service
• Ensuring patient safety
• Assisting pharmacy patients and front store customers with questions
• Managing inventory

Additionally, you will be expected to:

• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
• Motivate and inspire the pharmacy team to provide excellent patient care
• Identify critical business opportunities and contribute to the development of meaningful solutions
• Support the implementation of solutions to achieve specified goals

• Remain current on new developments, initiatives, and training to provide the best experience for patients

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy Intern License in the state in which you are employed
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
• No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
• Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy

Pay Range: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
