The Opportunity:
As the Director, Real Estate Projects – East Region, you will be a strong, motivated, and flexible program manager with an ability to lead and manage a team of Project Implementation Managers and Project coordinators overseeing complex major projects.
You will have strong governance and decision-making skills to be able to foster and manage current projects as well as potential projects in various parts of the Eastern region of the US.
Reporting to the VP Corporate Real Estate for the Americas region, the successful candidate will have an ability to adjust to changing priorities.
Our Corporate Real Estate team supports our internal clients from North to South America. The Real Estate Projects team delivers a wide range of projects from simple minor office refreshes to brand new offices or labs.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and implement all Internal Real Estate projects within your assigned region.
- Delivering on time and on or below budget for all projects.
- Define, Develop, and Document Project Budgets and Schedules, in consultation with the business and other corporate services partners.
- Ensures project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule, cost, and budget.
- Actively leads project planning, resourcing, staffing, and subcontract management.
- Make recommendations and support important decision-making on highly complex WSP Real Estate Projects.
- Align to long-term and short-term business priorities.
- Provide oversight and governance on all major projects ongoing within the Real Estate Projects team.
- Lead and develop presentations to Senior Executives, Leaders, and local staff.
- Implementation of industry-leading solutions and development of innovative solutions.
- Proactively manage deadlines and ensure appropriate communication is provided when schedule and cost conflicts arise.
- Assess project resources' capability to accomplish current and future assigned work and initiate actions as required to meet commitments.
- Lead, mentor, and instruct team members on design requirements, schedules, cost estimates, etc.
- Reviews drawings, budgets, and contractor quotations for cost-optimized contracts and profitability.
- Building mutually beneficial internal/external client relationships.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in a Project Management or equivalent role;
- Formal training in project management, PMP certification is an asset;
- Ability to speak in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese is an asset;
- A proven track record of completing projects on time and on budget with a high degree of client satisfaction;
- Highly proficient in MS Office including vendor and database software.
Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $132,400-$225,600
