As Country Procurement Manager for Singapore and Malaysia, you'll connect business teams with Procurement across both markets and the Regional Office. You'll lead fast-cycle sourcing and handle more complex local sourcing when needed, partnering with Category Managers, the Buy Desk, and a two-person team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with country and Finance leaders to clarify needs and objectives
- Owning fast-cycle, low-materiality sourcing across Singapore, Malaysia, and the Regional Office
- Leading medium-to-high complexity local execution when required
- Turning repeat purchases into catalogues, rate cards, or standing agreements
- Closing and renewing local contracts, monitoring supplier performance and risk
- Setting priorities, reviewing work, and coaching two direct reports
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- 10+ years in Procurement, with experience in in-market sourcing, complex sourcing, and negotiation
- Skilled in demand shaping, sourcing plans, and negotiating commercial terms
- Proven results improving sourcing speed, catalogue coverage, or buying discipline
- Experience in Singapore and Malaysia procurement, or deep expertise in one market and exposure to the other
- Strong senior stakeholder relationships and experience coaching junior colleagues
