Join us as a Production Assistant Apprentice at BBC Studios, a globally renowned media company making and distributing TV, audio, and digital content. You'll gain hands-on experience across various projects, support high-profile productions, and contribute to content enjoyed by audiences across the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping develop ideas and stories by researching content and finding guests and participants
- Assisting teams on location, in the studio, or in a TV gallery and helping out on the studio floor
- Learning to use technical equipment and specialist software by supporting teams with cameras, sound, lighting, and editing
- Creating content for multiple platforms, including social media, under the guidance of experienced professionals
You'll study for an industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. This means you'll attend learning blocks with our learning provider, working towards a Level 3 Production Assistant qualification.
The salary for this role is £24,650, plus a £5,441 London weighting.
To be eligible, you must be 18 years old or over, have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years, and be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK.
