Description
We are seeking a Resident Engineer, TS/SCI with Poly to join our team in Columbia/Fort Meade, MD. This is a full-time on-site position.
As a Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of a data center network. You will need to have a deep understanding of routing and switching technologies commonly implemented in data center networks, including EVPN, Multicast, OSPF, BGP, RSVP, LDP, Pseudo wires, L2VPN, L3VPN, MPLS Traffic Engineering (TE), Routing Policies, and associated tunneling technologies (GRE, VXLAN, etc.).
You will also be supporting Juniper products, including QFX, MX, EX, and SRX. Experience with Juniper products is a plus, but not a requirement.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can take direction and identify areas to improve network design and operation. You will need to have strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to prioritize work activity to achieve customer and account team goals.

The expected salary/wage range for this position is $119,500 - $275,000 per year in Maryland.
