The role offers an excellent opportunity to co-lead one of our neighbourhood teams, working closely with and supported by experienced Team Leaders. Key duties within the role include:
- Setting and maintaining standards of care and deploying, coordinating, and supervising the nursing team and learners as required
- Providing leadership and management to a team of community nurses and other staff covering the four localities across Herts Valleys
- Being responsible for the team's assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized nursing care to patients living in the community
- Maintaining patient and other records
- Participating in the long-term management of patients within the locality
- Having continued responsibility for a defined caseload
- Being responsible for the development and maintenance of competencies within the team
We offer a competitive employment package, including a salary of £41,957 to £50,387 per annum, inclusive of HCAS. As a Deputy Team Lead Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
The successful candidate will be someone who is committed to collaborative working, approachable, and an effective communicator. You will be confident working both independently and as part of a team, and open to new ideas and ways of working.
As this is a community-based role, with travel between patient homes, there is a requirement to hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
