We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Dermatology Team at the RFH as a Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist.
The post holder will need to be innovative and active in improving patient pathways. They will have excellent communications skills and will be able to work collaboratively with members of the team.
As a Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist, you would be working as an expert resource in Dermatology, providing support, advice, and education. You will be working closely with patients, carers, Dermatologists, Operations Teams, GP's, the wider multidisciplinary team and stakeholders across secondary and primary care. The role will include nurse-led clinics, phone advice, and ward referrals.

Job Responsibilities:
- Registration on Part 1 or 12 of NMC Register (RGN or RN Adult)
- Advanced assessment skills or willingness to work towards
- Recognised teaching or mentorship qualification
- Non-Medical Prescribing qualification
- Undergraduate degree
Person Specification:
- Post Registration experience of nursing patients with Dermatological conditions
- Experience of mentoring and managing junior staff and students
- Experience of developing innovative practice and managing change
- Experience of autonomous practice
- Experience of initiating change
- Working within multi-disciplinary groups and establishing relationships across the Trust

- Salary: £58,133 to £65,261 a year per annum inclusive of HCAS
