Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at The Meriden Hospital in Coventry. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, where you will supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
The successful candidate will deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols. You will assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly. Your duties will also include monitoring vital signs, recognising changes in condition, and escalating appropriately using clinical judgement. Additionally, you will administer medications safely and effectively, maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation, and ensure that all care provided complies with NMC standards and hospital policies.
To be considered for this role, you should be a Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration, have demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a relevant specialty is desirable.
