Description
Leidos is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer (ME) to join its Platform Integration Facility in Huntsville, AL. The ME will support the execution of a critical air defense program and work closely with existing Leidos Manufacturing product lines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with internal stakeholders
- Author and maintain manufacturing work instructions
- Support equipment/tooling maintenance
- Identify and lead improvement initiatives
- Support production readiness gate reviews
- Provide general support to production floor
Basic Qualifications
- BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR Masters in technical or business discipline
- Demonstrated technical experience in engineering support to manufacturing operations
- Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
- US Citizen with (and able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR eligible to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Lean principles, manufacturing metrics, and continuous improvement
- Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint accounting software, Solumina MES software, Agile or Windchill PLM software
- Strong personnel, planning, and project management skills, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Pay Range: $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
