As a Data Analysis Manager - Business Card and Payments at Capital One, you will drive strategy by leveraging analytical skills, assist with building and using models to test and validate data, and work with vast amounts of data in new and evolving environments.
You will lead a team of talented junior analysts, be part of growing and developing the brand in new and emerging markets, and leverage analytics to create a customer experience above peers.
Responsibilities include:
- Mining data to arrive at specific and crucial information
- Identifying and implementing process, data, and reporting improvements
- Working with large and complex databases
- Improving operational efficiencies and effectiveness
- Conducting analysis to evaluate processes and tests
- Extracting and analyzing data to gauge product offerings
- Consulting on the design and implementation of new production and data storage systems
- Developing and implementing strategic tests of products, initiatives, and marketing materials
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science) plus 6 years of experience in data analytics
- Master's Degree plus 4 years of experience in data analytics
- 4 years of professional data analysis experience
- 4 years of programming experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a STEM discipline
- 7 years of professional data analysis experience
- Experience with Python, R, Spark, SQL, Tableau, and AWS services
- People management and project management experience

Salary ranges from $164,800 to $188,100 for McLean, VA, and $149,800 to $171,000 for Richmond, VA.
