Description
As a Senior Capital Project Automation Engineer at 3M's San Luis Potosi, Mexico location, you will lead cross-functional project teams from concept to completion of medium to high complexity projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support and services throughout project planning and execution phases
- Implement automated control systems by developing, designing, and selecting necessary hardware and software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform equipment maintenance
- Analyze alternatives with suppliers to ensure project completion within contract terms
Requirements:
- Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field degree
- 5-7 years of experience as a project automation engineer
- AB and Siemens automation software experience, Fanuc robot programming
Additional qualifications:
- Experience in project management or industrial process focused on automation
- Experience in manufacturing and metalworking industries
- Team leadership
- Intermediate to advanced English language skills
