Description
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Therapies Team at Royal Trinity Hospice. The successful candidate will provide a specialist palliative care physiotherapy service to patients and carers accessing our services.
The role involves working independently and as part of the inter-disciplinary team, applying clinical skills in physiotherapy, including individual and group orientated approaches. You will work closely with other team members, including palliative care assistants, therapy assistants, students, and volunteers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing patient-centred specialist physiotherapy services to palliative care patients
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating treatment programmes
- Working within the Therapies team and with other healthcare professionals
- Contributing to the evaluation and development of the Therapies Service
- Communicating effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues
The post is a fixed-term, full-time position for 1 year, with a salary range of £47,951 to £56,863 per year, inclusive of high-cost area supplements.
