Description
We are looking for a new member to join our Video department as a Hardware Engineer.
Our Video Devices division handles the entire cycle of creating Ajax video products, from concept to mass production. We combine expertise in mechanics, hardware, image quality, optics, embedded systems, and networking. Our goal is to create technologically complex and competitive devices that combine stable connectivity, high-quality images, and scalable production.
Responsibilities:
- Develop schematic solutions and printed circuit boards for new Ajax devices.
- Improve existing Ajax devices.
- Select component replacements, including describing necessary tests.
- Conduct initial prototype verification and debugging (bring-up).
- Bring projects to mass production (10,000+ units per month).
Requirements:
- Design device schematics: calculate circuit elements, perform device simulations.
- Design printed circuit boards using Altium Designer.
- Design devices considering certification requirements (LVD, EMC).
- Design devices with mass production requirements in mind.
- Design low-power consumption devices.
- Design network devices (230 VAC).
- Optimize device cost (standardize base elements, search for alternative components).
- Debug prototypes, identify and eliminate device issues.
- Prepare documentation for producing printed circuit boards and their assemblies.
- Work with version control systems (git).
- English proficiency sufficient for reading supporting documentation.
Nice to have:
- Experience developing devices with streaming video (MIPI interface).
- Experience working with supply chains for large production volumes (10,000+ units per month).
- Experience creating embedded software for modern platforms (STM32, etc.), sufficient for debugging your own development.
- Understanding signal integrity/power integrity principles in device design, as well as experience modeling/characterizing topologies (S-parameters, PDN impedance).
