Description
We are seeking a Packaging Operator III to work at our 3M plant site in Indianapolis, IN. As a Packaging Operator III, you will be responsible for operating automated assembly machines to pack out products, maintaining quality and safety standards, utilizing 3M computer systems to track production and packaging cycles, and communicating with production coworkers and supervisors regarding production performance.
The starting rate of pay for this position is $20.46 per hour, plus shift differentials. We offer a range of benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance starting on day one, a 401K match of 5%, and an employee stock discount.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or GED, have at least two months of experience operating production machinery or CNC equipment, and be able to work rotating shifts, overtime, extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include basic computer knowledge and six months to one year of experience working with production machinery or CNC equipment.
