Description
The post is for a 10 PA Consultant in Sexual Health & HIV Medicine at 56 Dean Street, an award-winning HIV and sexual health service based in Soho.
The successful candidate will provide advice, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with STIs, including HIV infection, and will be committed to developing integrated HIV & sexual health services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing consultant advice and support to the multidisciplinary team working in HIV and GUM clinics
- Managing their own caseload of HIV patients
- Participating in quality improvement, research, and management of the service
- Working with colleagues to modernize the HIV care pathway
- Developing a special interest clinic, such as gender dysphoria or complex PrEP
The post-holder will also be expected to work with the other consultants at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust to deliver and improve outpatient HIV care, including recruitment to clinical trials.
The salary for this post is £113,565 to £150,569 per annum.
