Description
Join HP's PageWide Web Press business, a successful enterprise that designs, develops, installs, and supports digital web presses globally. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Customer Assurance and Growth Team. The successful candidate will assume engineering responsibility for one or more product subsystems, provide engineering support to our press factory, and tier 4 engineering support to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design engineering solutions for mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware
- Provide tier 4 engineering support and investigate hardware-related field and factory issues
- Develop and implement parameters and test plans for new and existing designs
- Use continuous improvement methodology to improve performance, reliability, and quality
- Serve as HP technical interface for strategic suppliers
- Lead and work on cross-functional project teams
- Collaborate and communicate with management, internal and outsourced development partners, and stakeholders
Education & Experience Recommended:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Typically has 5 to 7 years of engineering experience

- Experience in delivering technical solutions and systems across all phases of the design cycle

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
