Clinical Nurse Coordinator

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates unit functions during their shift. They direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care according to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
• Participate in assessing the quality of patient care services with the management team.
• Collaborate with experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Implement nursing strategies to improve employee engagement.
• Provide recommendations for staffing, training, and development.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor according to patient care needs.
• Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• 2 years of clinical RN experience preferred.
• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse or active multistate nursing licensure.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a health-related field required.
