Visual Merchandiser

We are seeking a Visual Merchandiser to join our team at Target. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring that visual moments are set and maintained to the company's guides and visual standards.

The starting pay range for this position per hour is $23.75 - $25.75, with a full pay range of $23.75 - $40.40 per hour.

In this role, you will:

• Plan and execute daily and weekly visual workloads to support business priorities and sales goals
• Conduct weekly visual assessments and partner with leaders to improve store visual execution and guest experience
• Assess and guide the execution of visual standards across the store
• Support the execution of the company's Visual Merchandising strategy and visual standards
• Train and develop team members to improve their visual merchandising skills
• Collaborate with leaders to solve merchandising issues and adjust sets to create inspiring presentations
• Maintain organisation of backroom space and stay up-to-date with current signing tools and fixtures
• Communicate and support team onboarding and continuous learning
• Demonstrate inclusivity and respect for diverse perspectives
• Ensure safety and compliance in all aspects of the role

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of visual merchandising experience
• Business acumen and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales
• Strong understanding of trend and style reflective of the Target brand
• Ability to lead and influence store teams
• Effective communication skills
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Access to all areas of the building
• Ability to operate a Work Assist Vehicle (WAV) and pallet jack
• Ability to interpret instructions and reports
• Accurate handling of cash register operations as needed
• Ability to climb ladders and lift merchandise up to 44 pounds
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
